Integrating creativity and reflection into courses to create better learning sites and learning outcomes, Chen Minjun, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, National Chung Cheng University, and Wu Yongqian, assistant professor of the Language Center, are committed to flipping the parallel lines of teaching and research to demonstrate the improvement of learning outcomes. The Ministry of Education has promoted the teaching practice research project in colleges and universities since 2017. The spirit of teaching as the mainstay and research as supplement encourages teachers to implement teaching innovation through curriculum design, teaching materials or teaching aids, technological media, etc. It must also use appropriate research Methods and evaluations verify effectiveness. In 2011, there were more than 1,600 teaching practice research projects across the country, and 154 "outstanding projects" were selected in the final review.
The "Participatory English Presentation Training Course Design: Language Communication Combining Visual Images and Question-and-Answer Interaction Skills" project directed by Associate Professor Chen Minjun of the Department of Foreign Languages is based on the results of the 109-year project and upgraded the original "Multimedia English Presentation Training" Professional English course design, adding three-party technologies of language, visual images and presentation tools to enhance audience participation and Q&A questions. Chen Minjun said that the course has a Q&A section to enhance students' communication practice, break the silence that Asian students usually experience in class, and lead to a good interactive dialogue between presenters and the audience.
Chen Minjun explained, "Not only the tools keep pace with the times, but the course content must also meet the needs of students." The course planning is based on students, and the learning content keeps pace with the times and is constantly updated. Related majors from outside the school and visual communication will be introduced into the course. Professional experts will give lectures to enhance the practicality of the course. She mentioned that joining the teaching of industrial teachers allows students to connect with the industry, which will be more substantial help for future work.

Assistant Professor Wu Yongqian of the Language Center led the project "Teaching Practice Research on Innovative Freshman English Vocabulary and Grammar Teaching by Applying Systemic Functional Grammar".
