<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">(1) Art Exhibition Promotion Activities : CCU Arts and Culture Center committed to creating high-quality Arts Experience Field for school teachers, students, and Yunlin-Chiayi region residents. By shows and exhibition activities (exhibitions, music, dance etc.), art seminars, film festivals, lectures, and workshops, can broaden the art horizon of teachers, students and residents in the neighbourhoods. By promoting art activities and linking them with local cultures, we hope to express social concern.</span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">(2) Community Service and Interaction : For strengthening the interaction between the school and the societies as well as the connection with the local culture, the school has formed National Chung Cheng University Association. By exchanging rich academic resources with the local enterprises and the community, a great amount of social resources was collected. With the group of people who are not even the alumnus but care about school (SME owners and the elites from all kinds of businesses) push forward the development of school affairs and promot the industry-academia cooperation, making the community of our school become wider.</span></p>

USR Bamboo and Bamboo Charcoal Innovation-Sustainable Consumption and Production
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">Take the local bamboo industry as a local university social practice and industrial linkage, cultivating the social responsibility of interdisciplinary talents in the industry chain, and guiding the upgrading and transformation of the bamboo industry. Teaching research, talent cultivation, and internationalization combined with Sustainable Development Goals as the ladder actively creates a space for the soft power of Taiwan Bamboo Industry to be in line with international academics and industries. Use technology to upgrade the industrial output value application as the main axis and provide opportunities for student internship research and innovation. Motivate interdisciplinary students to combine different professions; upgrade industry and cultivate regional practical talents to achieve talent docking; and to lead students to recognize the goals of technicalization and Informatization, solving local issues and create industrial value.</span></p>

Waste Treatment
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">The following are some concrete solutions to the school waste:</span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">(1) Customized instruction is done in every school unit to improve waste sorting, waste reducing, and resource recovering in order to accomplish reducing the school waste and promote recycling. </span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">(2) Outsources school ordinary refuse to keep the campus clean and enhance the quality of life of the faculties and staffs.</span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">(3) Outsources manufacturers which are accredited by the Environmental Protection Administration to clean up the experimental waste liquid, experimental infectious waste, chemical waste, experimental waste glass, and animal carcass.</span></p>

Energy Conservation in Government Agencies and Schools
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">Our school cooperated with the government to implement the "Government Agency and School Energy Conservation Action Plan" (plan period: 2020-2023) in phases. The plan took 2015 as the base period to increase the overall power consumption efficiency by 10% in 2023. As of 2020 the annual total electricity consumption had decreased by approximately 9.33% compared with 2015, and the CO2 reduction was 1,492,800kg [2,915,127 degrees (the total annual electricity consumption reduction as of 2019 based on 2015) * 0.509 (electricity emission factor in 2018: kg CO2/degree)].</span></p>

Financial Status
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">The total business revenue in 2020 sums up to 2,761,728,807 NTD, including 1,249,951,530 NTD of teaching revenue (tuition and miscellaneous fees exemption income, work-study program, and university extension income), 1,324,854,714 NTD of other business revenue (139,593,527 NTD of government subsidy income), including school research in teaching and other subsidies income and miscellaneous business income, 20,123,568 NTD of premium income and 166,798,995 NTD of business income.</span><br><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">The total business expenditure in 2020 sums up to 3,055,973,820 NTD, including teaching expenditure consisting of research in teaching, school discipline and guidance expenditure, work-study program expenditure, and the University extension expenditure summing up to 2,262,625,911 NTD. Other business expenditures (sponsorships and incentives for students), management, general affairs, and other business expenditures (miscellaneous business expenditure) sum up to 669,747,430 NTD, and the non-business expenditure sums up to 2,360,479 NTD. The deficiency sums up to 294,245,013 NTD this year.</span></p>

Academic Ethics and Integrity
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">In order to build the institution of academic ethics and research integrity in CCU, our school enact regulations such as Self-Discipline Norm on Academic Ethics and Research Integrity Management in CCU, Establishment Directions on Academic Ethics and Research Integrity for Offices in CCU, Directions for Implementing the Academic Ethics Education for Teachers and Researchers in CCU, and Operation Guidelines on the Case of Academic Ethics and Research Integrity for Researchers in CCU. By doing so, we can improve the academic ethics and integrity of researchers in CCU, deepen the education on academic ethics, and fairly process the cases that violate the regulations on academic ethics and integrity. The Office of Research and Development in CCU promotes the importance of academic ethics by setting online theme area and holding education training regularly.</span></p>

Communication with stakeholders
<p><span style="color:hsl(0,0%,0%);">Our school develops a homepage news column, school paper, internship media, Facebook fans page, annual report etc. communication tunnels to announce the school information. Secretariat establishes alumnus webmail, School Affairs Advice System, feedback mail providing to alumnus, students, communities, students parents for reflections and opinions providing. After organizing, the school will inform the relative school administration organization to progress the follow-up reply.</span></p>

International Exchange
<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">As for internationalization, our school promotes a bilingual campus, establishes information platforms, integrates bilingual learning resources, and offers consistent Language Studies courses for local students from a foreign language environment to improve their language ability. Through cooperating with national and international schools, teachers international cooperation, the school enhance student international mobility, etc.</span></p>
