When Chung Cheng University was established 30 years ago in Minxiong Township, Chiayi County, several mango trees planted on Daxue Road during the Japanese occupation were transplanted to Chung Cheng Campus due to the widening of the road. The two batches of mango trees were transplanted to the same place on the Chung Cheng campus, and the "reunion" of the two batches of mango trees became a good story. The county government held a nostalgic concert "Minxiong old trees reunited at 30" yesterday to celebrate the centenary of mango trees' rebirth.
