CCU signed an MOU with Dapu Beauty Park to build talent in Chiayi's technology industry

To meet the demands of industrial talents and foster collaborations between industry and academia, the Financial Technology and Smart Governance Research Center at the School of Management of Chung Cheng University remain committed to establishing diverse industry-university partnerships, promoting talent development, and facilitating exchanges. On the 4th, the center signed a long-term cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dapumei Precision Machinery Park. The aim is to foster collaboration between industry and academia, leveraging the strengths of both parties in various domains, and jointly contributing to the development of talents in Chiayi.
In recent years, the Chiayi County Government has been actively promoting economic development in the Chiayi region. Among its initiatives, the Dapumei Precision Machinery Park stands out as one of the significant projects and is regarded as a crucial cornerstone for the transformation of Chiayi County. In addition to housing the Asia-Pacific's largest beauty and biotechnology park "Jordenice Castle," the park is home to Laoyang Food, Carroll's brass instruments, and other tourist factories, as well as numerous companies that have set up their operations here. This influx of businesses has brought more employment opportunities and exposure to Chiayi.
Zhang Shuoyi, the Dean of the Chung Cheng School of Management, emphasized the importance of students connecting with the industry alongside their academic research at the university. With the many manufacturers present in Dapumei Precision Machinery Park, students have the opportunity to gain insight into the actual work environment and industry needs. The university seeks to further strengthen its collaboration with the park, providing students with enhanced opportunities and platforms for comprehensive training and growth in both academic and career development.
The signing ceremony took place at Dapumei Park, with Zhang Shuoyi and Liu Jiabin, Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Dapumei Precision Park in Chiayi County, signing the agreement as representatives of their respective parties. Several esteemed guests, including Hong Guojun, Deputy Director of Taipower Chiayi District Business Office, Mayor Xu Youjiang of Dalin Township, Councilor Jiang Zhiming of Chiayi County, Professor Zheng Yangyao, and other directors and supervisors of Dapu Beauty Park, were present to witness the momentous occasion. The collaboration is expected to further strengthen the ties between industry and academia and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
