Global ecological changes continue to unfold, and issues like plastic products, fishery waste, and oil emissions have had a severe impact on marine ecology. In response to these challenges, the Education Institute at National Chung Cheng University, entrusted by the Taichung City Yiai Culture Cultivation Association, has undertaken the "Yi Pin Ai Shu Lesson Supplement Project." This initiative, held in conjunction with the Taipower South Exhibition Hall, brought 25 recent elementary school graduates to explore ways to preserve marine ecology and resources. The project also aligns with the main theme of the Charity Association's 10th-anniversary celebration, which emphasizes "Love the Land and SDGs Conservation of Marine Ecology."

The Chung Cheng Education Institute explained that the "Yipin Love Mathematics Lesson Program" focuses on both mathematics and moral education. It aims to identify individual students' mathematics learning difficulties and then employs excellent tutoring teachers from Chung Cheng University, Taichung University of Education, Chiayi University, and other institutions. These teachers, along with assistance from senior teaching experts, conduct small-class teaching with groups of five students. Furthermore, they employ a "refined tutoring learning model" that includes one-on-one guidance. This approach helps students reconstruct their mathematical concepts, overcome learning obstacles, and increase their sense of accomplishment, thereby fostering a greater interest in academic learning.

Zheng Shengyao, director of the Chung Cheng Education Institute, highlighted the importance of moral education, which involves tailoring the curriculum to address students' specific learning needs. In particular, the values of "respect for life" and "caring for the living environment and sustainable development of natural ecology" are incorporated into life education and environmental sustainability topics. Supplementary teachers also prepare subjects such as forest conservation, marine ecology, and reducing plastic usage for inclusion in daily lessons. Zheng Shengyao emphasized that "conservation and recycling are topics that everyone should be aware of." The guided tour, based on the visit to the Pingtung Marine Museum, allows students to learn about various underwater creatures, landscapes, and the importance of protecting the ocean's ecosystem.

Jia Hui'an, chairman of the Charity Love Culture Cultivation Association, expressed gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our predecessors, emphasizing the need for all children to cherish the resources they have. She encouraged students to strive for a better future and praised the success of the "Yipin Aishu Lesson Supplement Project," now in its fifth year. Although the "Finding the Heart of the Ocean" event had been postponed in 2021 due to the pandemic, she was delighted that it could take place this year, and she recognized the indispensable role played by every member in making the project a success.

Zheng Shengyao expressed gratitude for the support of the Taichung City Yiai Culture Cultivation Association, whose funding made the two-day and one-night graduation trip possible. He hopes that the lessons learned during the "Yi Pin Ai Shu" project will inspire students to care for the earth and protect marine ecology. Additionally, he looks forward to continued support, enabling more children to benefit from supplementary educational resources.
