Recycling Research in Nearly 15,000 Tons of Bamboo in Dalin County

Dalin township in Chiayi County is a bamboo village. The occupies land area of bamboo planting is approximately 800 hectares. After every harvest, the waste of bamboo is among 15,000-tonne.The research team of Chung Cheng University burned bamboo into bamboo charcoal and successfully purify water by using bamboo charcoal. Now the method can be used in fish farming to stabilize water quality control and reduce breeding costs.
