To foster more opportunities for academic exchanges between Chung Cheng University and Hong Kong Lingnan University, and to enhance the international mobility and global perspective of students from both institutions, a cooperation agreement was signed during the visit of Mo Jiahao, the Vice President of Hong Kong Lingnan University, and five professors from the university, to Chung Cheng University at 9 am on the 29th. This agreement aims to promote deeper connections and cooperation in teaching and research between the two prestigious universities in the future.

Representing Chung Cheng University, Vice President Hao Fengming, along with the Institute of Adult and Continuing Education, signed a joint Master's Degree Program Agreement in Organizational Psychology and Educational Management with Lingnan University. Starting from academic year 112, eligible graduate students from both universities will be granted dual master's degrees from Chung Cheng University and Lingnan University. This agreement marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation between these two esteemed Asian universities. During the meeting, the topics of academic exchange, research cooperation, seminar management, and exchange visits of researchers were discussed. Following the signing ceremony, a visit was conducted to the "Sen Breathing Living Museum," a living laboratory set up by the Cross-domain Innovation Research Center for Aging in Dalin, where they experienced firsthand the community-driven time bank and the services provided by an au pair.

Lingnan University is the only public liberal arts university in Hong Kong, with three colleges covering humanities, business administration, social sciences, and science. It is committed to upholding the tradition of liberal arts education and delivering high-quality teaching. The signing ceremony was attended by a professor team led by Vice President Mok Ka-ho of Lingnan University, including Professor Qiu Yong, Associate Professor Liu Jiahui, Associate Professor Yu Baohua, and Assistant Professor Padmore Adusei Amoah.

To effectively address the challenges posed by the super-aging society in Taiwan and leverage resources from various stakeholders both within and outside the university, National Chung Cheng University established the "Center for Innovative Research on Aging Society (CIRAS)," initiated by Vice President Hao Fengming under the Ministry of Deep Cultivation Program. This is the country's unique research center with a humanistic orientation, specializing in aging research. One of its initiatives, the "Co-creation of Life in the Elderly Community Laboratory," headed by Wu Mingru, the Deputy Director of the Elderly Cross-domain Center and a professor of the Department of Social Welfare, has established a total of 100 living laboratories across different townships and counties. The Dalin Town life laboratory, primarily based in the Mori Breathing Life Hall, is led by Assistant Researcher Liu Hongyu from the Center for Aging Cross-domain. It collaborates with the local organization Wisteria Maternal and Child Care Association to run a care cafe in the community, employing the time bank mutual aid and au pairing concepts. The experiment focuses on creating a sense of home-like warmth and intimacy while studying the development process and potential forms of a symbiotic community.

By signing this cooperation agreement and engaging in practical exchanges and research, both Chung Cheng University and Lingnan University aim to enhance their student's learning experiences and broaden their perspectives in an ever-evolving global landscape. The joint efforts between these two esteemed institutions will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of education and the promotion of cultural exchange.
