Taiwan is about to enter a super-aging society within five years. By then, the population over the age of 65 will account for 20% of the total population. In addition to the continuous increase in the demand for medical practitioners, it will also face the problem of an aging workforce. In cooperation with the Chiayi County Government, Chung Cheng University will jointly promote the service base for silver-haired talents and create a friendly working environment for the elderly. As for the cultivation of medical talents, Yuan-pei Medical University has raised the issue of taking root, and hopes to cooperate with higher vocational colleges to create a medical and health care class.
