Lu, Wei-Yuan, the professor from the General Education Center of Chung Cheng University, and his team have found a crab-eating mongoose moving nearby the small pond in the forest when they reviewed the monitoring results recently. Peng, Zhen-Ru, a member of the working team, said that the crab-eating mongoose often travels alone. It is not easy to catch the crab-eating mongoose. The team speculated that it originally inhabited the environment and they hopes to use the lens to capture more precious animals such as flying squirrels.
