In 2021, the National Tainan Museum of Living Aesthetics will hold the "Meet the Southern World Documentary Film Exhibition" for the first time. Xu, Zhu-guan, the director of the Taiwan Urban and Rural Characteristic Development Association, Guan Zhongxiang, the professor of the Department of Communication, National Chung Cheng University and Xi, Hao, an assistant professor of the Department of Mass Communication of Providence University. They serve as the curator of the film festival. After half a year of curatorial and dialogue, they took "Southern Vision·Local Viewpoint" as the slogan of the film festival and selected a total of 66 films with local perspectives from four social topics, "multiple equality, generational advancement, public governance, and social co-creation" from the United Kingdom, Cambodia, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The films connect the common history and cultural memory of the people. Also, they convey the southern perspectives and local perspectives. 2021 "Meet the Southern Documentary Film Festival" will run from September 3rd to October 31st.
