2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report Section 6.1.2 page 94-95 highlights the following event as Responsible Consumption and Production to achieve the SDGs. Take the local bamboo industry as a local university social practice and industrial linkage, cultivating the social responsibility of interdisciplinary talents in the industry chain, and guiding the upgrading and transformation of the bamboo industry. Teaching research, talent cultivation, and internationalization combined with Sustainable Development Goals as the ladder actively creates a space for the soft power of Taiwan Bamboo Industry to be in line with international academics and industries. Use technology to upgrade the industrial output value application as the main axis and provide opportunities for student internship research and innovation. Section 2.4.2 Chung-Cheng Intergenerational to Co-Living Park

2019 National Chung University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report page 18 highlight the following event as our Partnerships to achieve the SDGs.

This project is a Taiwan-Japan cooperation agreement with the Japanese Nara ELYSION Group. To set up its first demonstration base in Chiayi County within three years is the priority. A residential building for the elderly, a joint clinic, a senior learning base, a daycare center, a health care center, and an age-friendly product exhibiting area will all be included in one unit. Moreover, we aim to provide a solution to the long-term care issues for the elderly with the medical care experience from Japan and the teaching resource from CCU. And give the aged people to have a healthier and happier life.
