To promote UN SDG 13 goal for,Have a target date by which it will become carbon neutral according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocols?, National Chung University has implemented the following policy.
On December 16, the University and the Taiwan Sustainable Energy Research Foundation has signed the Letter of Intent to achieve the vision of Green University by combining the experience and influence of education for sustainable development, cultivating the sustainable core competence of teachers and students.

Hope for Sustainable Green Energy and Environmental Ethics from the Viewpoint of Green Industry
This course aims to make students understand that from the perspective of environmental technology, it is necessary to consider the principle of human production and lifestyles should not exceed environmental tolerance as interpreted by sustainable development and to minimize the consumption of energy and other resources. The University has set up the "TaskCampus Disaster Management Committee," planning and implementing the prevention and control of campus hazards on weekdays, including promoting preventive education courses and promotional activities and campus environmental safety measures.

No Plastic for Climate Action
To promote UN SDG 13 goal for,Inform and support local or regional government in local climate change disaster or risk early warning and monitoring, National Chung University has implemented the following policy. The "plastic-free guest, "launched by a student club concerned about environmental issues at Chung Cheng University, hopes to promote the concept of non-plastic activities simultaneously as governmental policy, to reduce the number of times students use disposable plastic products.
