To promote academic exchange and research collaboration in the semiconductor field, the Advanced Institute of Manufacturin with High-Tech Innovations at National Chung Cheng University and the College of Smart Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) recently announced their partnership. The two institutions will work together on information exchange and collaboration in academic fields such as material applications, packaging processes, reliability analysis, thermal stress analysis, and the application of generative AI in semiconductors.
The Foresight Center outlined that the memorandum includes faculty and student exchanges and visits, the organization of academic conferences, research collaboration, and joint academic publications to enhance the international influence of both universities in related fields. "This collaboration will foster interdisciplinary academic exchange and drive our research and innovation in the semiconductor field," said Yao He-Teng, Director of the AIM-HI. Dean Su Yen-Kun of NCKU added, "Through this partnership, we will strengthen our connections with other academic institutions and jointly promote the sustainable development of the semiconductor industry."
The Foresight Center stated that the signing of this academic exchange memorandum marks a deeper level of cooperation between tthe Advanced Institute of Manufacturin with High-Tech Innovations at CCU and the College of Smart Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing at NCKU, injecting new vitality into research and innovation in the semiconductor field both in Taiwan and internationally.
