National Chung Cheng University provides assistance (such as food, accommodation, transportation, and legal services) to students from low-income families so that they can complete their university studies, so they implement this system and hope to achieve the goals of SDG 1 of the United Nations.
To provide support for low-income students, the school provides accommodation support for low-income, low-middle-income, and disadvantaged students.
Priority accommodation arrangements for low-income and low-middle-income households, who meet the application qualifications of students with special difficulties and students with disadvantaged student aid conditions, will be given priority for accommodation after the review of the "Students with Special Difficulties Applying for Priority Bed Allocation Meeting". Students from low-income households are exempted from on-campus dormitory fees. Students who receive the school’s low-income households’ accommodation fee-free subsidies should participate in service learning in the school’s student dormitory. Each student must serve 10 hours per semester. Students' off-campus accommodation rental subsidies: 1. Low- and middle-income students 2. The total income of the family accrued population is less than 700,000 yuan, the total interest income of the household accrued population shall not exceed 20,000 yuan, and the total value of real estate owned by the family accrued population shall not exceed 6.5 million yuan.
