Esophageal cancer is not easy to detect in the early stage, and the detection effect is insufficient; it is usually too late while the cancer is confirmed. Wang Xiangchen, a mechanical engineering professor at Chung Cheng University, worked with doctors at the Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital to analyze pathological images. Then the Chung Cheng team proposed a set of ""identification of intraesophageal visual imaging features analysis method ""to identify cancer changes and point out the stage of esophageal cancer. The technical accuracy rate is as high as 85%. In addition to having obtained patent benefits from Taiwan and the United States, the essay is also published in the international journal science report. It is also combining AI and looking forward to assisting doctors in consultation and consulting doctors in time.

Section 2.4.2 Chung-Cheng Intergenerational to Co-Living Park

2019 National Chung University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report page 18 highlight the following event as our Partnerships to achieve the SDGs.

This project is a Taiwan-Japan cooperation agreement with the Japanese Nara ELYSION Group. To set up its first demonstration base in Chiayi County within three years is the priority. A residential building for the elderly, a joint clinic, a senior learning base, a daycare center, a health care center, and an age-friendly product exhibiting area will all be included in one unit. Moreover, we aim to provide a solution to the long-term care issues for the elderly with the medical care experience from Japan and the teaching resource from CCU. And give the aged people to have a healthier and happier life.
