Faculty join hands with CCU interdisciplinary team to rewrite the bloody labor conditions of foreign fishermen
With the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), we invited the Taiwan Tuna Association, the representative of large tuna fishing vessels in Taiwan, to join hands with the research team of the College of Social Sciences and the College of Engineering to discuss the issues of sustainable fisheries and corporate social responsibility (CSR) from "point-line The research team is working to establish a platform for stakeholder dialogue and cooperation through academic strengths, and to utilize cutting-edge technologies such as big data and blockchain to work with industries and labor to create a human-centered and appropriate labor policy for the ocean.
