Section 5.3 Complaint Mechanism
2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report Section 5.3 page 89-90 highlights the following event as Decent Work and Economic Growth to achieve the SDGs.
(1) In order to protect the rights and interests of teachers, the University has established a Teacher Appeals and Review Committee in accordance with Article 22 of the University Regulation, the “Guidelines for the Organization and Review of the Teacher Appeals and Review Committee” issued by the Ministry of Education, and Article 40 of the “Organizational Rules and Regulations of National Chung Cheng University”.
(2) Staff Complaints:
- On-campus Staff : In order to protect the rights and interests of the staff, National Chung Cheng University has established the ""Organization and Points of Deliberation of the National Chung Cheng University Staff Appeals Review Committee"" in accordance with the Civil Service Protection Act and Article 29 of the university rules of procedure.
- Mechanics and Workers:
In order to protect the rights and interests of mechanics and workers, to promote campus harmony, and to function as a support to academic administration, the ""Guidelines for Establishing a Mechanic and Worker Appeal Review Committee of National Chung Cheng University"" are established in accordance with the provisions of the university organizational rules.
(3) Student Complaints : In order to protect the rights and interests of students, promote campus harmony, and give full play to its educational functions, the University has established the Regulations for the Establishment of the Student Appeals Review Committee and Handling of Student Appeals in accordance with Article 33, Section 4 of the University Law and Article 35 of the Rules and Regulations of the University. The procedure and notes on the handling of complaints are available in the New Student Handbook, the school official website and the website of the business unit (Counseling Center) for student enquiries and reference.

Section 3.3 High-quality industry-academia Cooperation
2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report Section 3.3 page 33-35 highlights the following event as Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure to achieve the SDGs.
Through industries propose questions and academia solve problems, Ministry of Science and Technology encourages domestic enterprises to form alliances and jointly invest in forward-looking technology research and development with the academic and research circles to narrow the gap between industry and academia and strengthen the key patent layout.On this basis, National Chung Cheng University combines interdisciplinary teams with outstanding academic research to promote the integration of Interdisciplinary Research Center and construct an interactive platform for the research community. Moreover, the school implies school-level integrated research projects to enhance the school research and development capabilities. In addition, they also integrate on-campus research teams actively and cooperate with industry, research institutions, and universities to create new knowledge and technology.

Our school positively promotes academic development and enhance the quality of research level to accomplish the goal of outstanding academic performance. And it mainly encourages our full-time teachers and researchers to apply for out-of-school awards, which can further affirm our academic research results, the ability to research and the influences on the society.
Under collaboration of our students and teachers, in 2019, our school received 28 different awards outside the school!

Section 3.6.2 The Employability Improvement for Disabled Students
2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report Section 3.6.2 page 48-49 highlights the following event as Reduced Inequalities to achieve the SDGs.
CCU Counseling Center aims to improve disabled students adaptation through counselling services. After the Ministry of Education passes the disability certification application, we can help students in many aspects, such as provide them with resources on academic, living, mental, career, and social adaptation. With students supporting service plans, the counsellors will track students conditions on interpersonal adaptation, school work guidance, emotion supporting, and career consultation.
