"Reconstructing University Road” carries two implications. The first is to reconstruct and undertake the obligatory social responsibilities; the second is to rebuild the relation between the university and the local society by building mutual harmony, learning from local residents, and facing and solving problems together. The vicinity along the University Road is where faculty and students live. It is also the way that connects locals and the centre of the town. There exist various cultural landscapes and ways of living. We wish to accumulate local knowledge through multiple approaches, apply our knowledge to the local society to better understand our town, preserve collective memories, and understand local problems. We will work closely with local residents to build a Dovoha database to preserve and share information.

When I Hold the Hand of a Grandma: Local Care and Co-living Project for Youth and the Elderly
Helping senior citizens rediscover their self-worth and redefining the roles, valuing and positioning of grandparents in an aging society to let the elderly bring their wisdom and life experiences into play as a cultural transmission force. Bringing youth and the elderly closer together to create a platform for intergenerational "transmission" in our country.

Greening up this old house: Green life cycle and co-prosperity in the community
We obtain resources from three sources, including the faculties and students of the Department of Adult and Continuing Education in the National Chung Cheng University; the older adult educators; and the community residents to collaborate and realize the green life cycle.
