Chung Cheng University’s leading research center for forward-looking manufacturing systems has developed a “layered printing soft material containing plant fibers”, which not only uses local materials, but also adds agricultural waste such as pineapple leaves, bamboo leaves, and coffee grounds to improve the toughness and support of silicone and concrete. In addition, the software is developed to accurately calculate the strength and filling ratio. At present, this technology has applied for a patent and continues to cooperate with manufacturers and hospitals.
