Combining service-learning courses with lectures was originally intended to have a complementary effect. The intention was good, but it caused confusion and resentment among the students. After communicating with the students, the school further relaxed the restrictions last year, and will no longer pass the graduation threshold just because they did not finish listening to the lectures within the time limit, denying the fact that the students have served.
