2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report section 2.4.2 page 20 highlights the following event as Life Below Water to achieve the SDGs.

The grouper has been loved in recent years, but pathogens infection is severe for breeders. Given the colonization of grouper, the Center for Nano Bio-detection in CCU developed the ""immediate colonization pool aquatic pathogen monitoring"" technology. As long as the sensor wafer is dripped into 0.1 ml pool water, it can be confirmed whether the virus infects the pool water in 20 minutes. Early drug administration can effectively prevent a large number of infected deaths and improve water quality.

Section 2.4.2 Chung-Cheng Intergenerational to Co-Living Park

2019 National Chung University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report page 18 highlight the following event as our Partnerships to achieve the SDGs.

This project is a Taiwan-Japan cooperation agreement with the Japanese Nara ELYSION Group. To set up its first demonstration base in Chiayi County within three years is the priority. A residential building for the elderly, a joint clinic, a senior learning base, a daycare center, a health care center, and an age-friendly product exhibiting area will all be included in one unit. Moreover, we aim to provide a solution to the long-term care issues for the elderly with the medical care experience from Japan and the teaching resource from CCU. And give the aged people to have a healthier and happier life.
