National Chung Cheng University and Yunlin County Government optimize the Dounan Reciprocal Hub for Old and Young

National Chung Cheng University (CCU) and Yunlin County Government formally signed a cooperation agreement. CCU CSR University Lecture Series

<b>This activity is one of the CCU commitments to promote SDGs education.</b> <p></p> The highest academic for university students to pursue knowledge is also a cradle for cultivating outstanding national talents; CSR University Lecture Series hopes that many fresh students can cultivate the concept of sustainable development and deepen relevant capabilities during their student period or the in-service professional research stage of the public. After graduating or entering the workplace after further studies, they can immediately play and continue to promote SDGs. Related activities will cooperate with various NGOs to launch a series of themes:<p> <b>CSR University Lecture Series [The distance between us and sustainability]:</b><br> For you, can sustainability be not only a distant concept, but also a touching story? 2020 Annual USR Operation and Teacher Training Activities

<b>In order to provide opportunities for cross-departmental dialogue on sustainable development goals, CCU established a teacher community and organized related training activities. </b><p></p> The theme of this event: <b>How to achieve the "United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" through the operation of the University Social Responsibility Program</b>Speaker: Dr. Jian Youxin, Chairman of TAISE, Chairman /Dr. Wenhong Liu, Director of the Ocean Affairs Research Center, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology<p></p> This event was assisted by our school’s USR-"Planting, Crystallization, Sublimation-Science Education Promotion Program for Primary and Secondary Schools in Yunjia Region" team to assist in the 109 annual university social responsibility community operation and teacher training activities, and invited Nanhua University to cooperate with Teachers and colleagues from Chiayi University participated together.

Section 2.4.2 Intelligent Knee Invention

2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report section 2.4.2 page 19 highlights the following event as Good Health and Well-being to achieve the SDGs.<p></p> The mechanical engineering associate professor, Yang Chi Ying, cooperated with Tzu Chi Hospital, developed a ""smart knee protector. "" This smart knee joint wear accessory and mobile phone APP, not only to check the angle of the knee joint but also to warn the user whether the angle is too large and correct the action. She hopes that the general public or the elderly can protect the knee and view their walk posture.

CSR and SDGs in Action with Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) (development of educational resources)

Cooperating with non-governmental organizations to jointly promote CSR/UN SDGs activities, Chung Cheng University (CCU) and the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) jointly promote UN SDGs activities. <p></p>Hope that through this cooperation activities, including:<br> 1. The two parties signed an MOU ceremony to announce the SDGs development strategy;<br> 2. In the "30th Anniversary Celebration Series" of our school, one of the activities is the sustainable development of the campus. TAISE Chairman Dr. Jian Youxin was invited to give a lecture-Sustainable Campus: Issues related to the interaction between the government, legal persons, enterprises and universities;<br> 3. TAISE assists CCU to promote the concept of "sustainability" on the campus, and jointly conduct seminars on education, research, promotion and practice of sustainable development and corporate society;<br> 4. Promote CCU faculty and students to participate in TAISE's professional SDGs courses, and pass the certification to become the jury member of the corporate social responsibility and sustainable development awards of Taiwan enterprises;<br> 5. Promote TAISE to CCU to handle CSR university lecture activities.

Section 6.3.1 Extraordinary Lecture- Professor Chen Wen Chien from Asia University

2019 National Chung Cheng University Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report section 6.3.1 page 110 highlights the following event as Gender Equality to achieve the SDGs.<p></p> The school has invited a wide range of media, writers, lawyers, political figures, and one of the 25"" creative talents ""in Asia. Professor Chen Wen-Chien, of the Department of Information Communication of the Asia University. With the theme of ""people and my neighbors, ""British politicians and Taiwanese politicians stories are examples. In her political career, the present situation and predicament of the Taiwan government are described.
