Energy Management Committee Operation Plan

Energy Conservation in Government Agencies and Schools

<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">Our school cooperated with the government to implement the "Government Agency and School Energy Conservation Action Plan" (plan period: 2020-2023) in phases. The plan took 2015 as the base period to increase the overall power consumption efficiency by 10% in 2023. As of 2020 the annual total electricity consumption had decreased by approximately 9.33% compared with 2015, and the CO2 reduction was 1,492,800kg [2,915,127 degrees (the total annual electricity consumption reduction as of 2019 based on 2015) * 0.509 (electricity emission factor in 2018: kg CO2/degree)].</span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">After developing and growing up for 30 years, our school has become a comprehensive university in the south and central region with research and teaching together, also owns the compatibility of technology and humanity. The Developing projects of the medium stage from 107 to 110 continuously follow the university motto” To innovate with earnestness; be virtuous with altruism!” And in the short stage, it aims to develop regional innovation, cross-disciplinary integration, global cooperation, and diverse features and strive for national items. The Employability Improvement for Disabled Students

<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">CU Counseling Center aims to improve disabled students adaptation through counselling services. After the Ministry of Education passes the disability certification application, we can help students in many aspects, such as provide them with resources on academic, living, mental, career, and social adaptation. With students supporting service plans, the counsellors will track students conditions on interpersonal adaptation, school work guidance, emotion supporting, and career consultation.</span></p>

Service­-Learning Course

<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">“Social service-learning courses” enabled students to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge and professions of the groups through the service-learning courses, connecting community development and local culture while assisting the disadvantaged, and realizing the social responsibility of the teachers and students in the school. There were 43 crucial cooperative units off-campus in recent years, including the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Good Shepherd Social Welfare Foundation, Chiayi County Spinal Cord Injury Association, Shanglin community of Dalin township.</span></p>
