Energy Conservation in Government Agencies and Schools

<p><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">Our school cooperated with the government to implement the "Government Agency and School Energy Conservation Action Plan" (plan period: 2020-2023) in phases. The plan took 2015 as the base period to increase the overall power consumption efficiency by 10% in 2023. As of 2020 the annual total electricity consumption had decreased by approximately 9.33% compared with 2015, and the CO2 reduction was 1,492,800kg [2,915,127 degrees (the total annual electricity consumption reduction as of 2019 based on 2015) * 0.509 (electricity emission factor in 2018: kg CO2/degree)].</span></p>

To promote UN SDG 13 goal for,Inform and support local or regional government in local climate change disaster or risk early warning and monitoring,National Chung Cheng University has worked on the following research. <p></p>The essay discusses the three regulations of the U.S. Energy and Security Act on carbon capture and storage. It explains how to regulate carbon capture and storage to promote carbon capture and storage in our country. Furthermore, finding out the established legislative model can be extended as a reference for other environmental legislation for Taiwan.
